SEND and Vulnerable Learners
On the Stratford and East Ham sites, Education Links provides small nurturing, highly skilled alternative provision for pupils who cannot cope in mainstream schools. It has a small number of permanent classes for pupils with severe needs.
It also has a number of other short term provisions where mainstream pupils who are not coping can be referred for short term help and support.
The three sites are for pupils with a range of difficulties, including SEMH, ASC and ADHD.
The Plaistow site is a specialist provision for a small number of pupils with complex, non-verbal Autism.
Our staff team is experienced in supporting young people who are dealing with several vulnerabilities that impact on their learning. Through building strong working relationships with students, and with their families, we can address these vulnerabilities directly, or by liaison with external agencies.
