We are pleased to be working in partnership with National AI Awareness Day (4th June 2026), a forward-thinking national initiative designed to build AI literacy across schools throughout the UK.

At a time when artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the way we live, work, and learn, this campaign offers a timely and practical opportunity for schools to engage meaningfully with one of the most significant developments of our era.
The model underpinning National AI Awareness Day is deliberately simple and inclusive: schools are invited to commit to delivering just one activity focused on AI. This accessible approach ensures that every school—regardless of size, context, or level of prior experience—can participate. Whether it is a classroom discussion, a themed lesson, a student-led project, or a whole-school event, the emphasis is on sparking curiosity, encouraging dialogue, and building foundational understanding.

Our involvement in this partnership reflects a shared commitment to preparing young people for a future increasingly shaped by intelligent technologies. AI is no longer a distant concept; it is embedded in everyday tools, from search engines to recommendation systems, and its influence continues to grow across industries. As educators, we have a responsibility not only to ensure that students are aware of these technologies, but that they can engage with them critically, ethically, and creatively.

National AI Awareness Day creates a powerful, unified moment for the education community. By aligning schools across the country in a shared focus, it fosters a sense of collective purpose and momentum. It is an opportunity to demystify AI, challenge misconceptions, and promote balanced perspectives—recognising both its potential benefits and the ethical considerations it raises.

Importantly, this initiative is not about technical expertise or complex implementation. It is about starting conversations, raising awareness, and empowering both students and staff to feel confident engaging with AI. In doing so, it supports the development of key skills such as critical thinking, digital literacy, and adaptability—skills that are essential for success in a rapidly evolving world.

We are proud to support this initiative and to play a role in helping to shape a generation that is informed, thoughtful, and prepared. By taking part in National AI Awareness Day, we are not only embracing innovation, but also reinforcing our commitment to ensuring that education remains relevant, responsive, and future-focused.
